COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS
• Braiding must cover at least 60% of the visible hairstyle design.
• The primary focus must be on braiding techniques, parting design, precision, and creativity.
• Up to 40% of the hairstyle may include straight hair, waves, curls, ponytails, buns, rolls, loose hair, haircut elements, or shaved sections.
• Additional elements must complement the braiding design and must not dominate the overall presentation.
HAIR LENGTH
• Hair length is unrestricted.
• Hair must be sufficient to demonstrate braiding techniques and design elements.
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
The following are permitted:
• Kanekalon and synthetic hair fibers
• Natural additional hair
• Pre-braided elements
• Decorative accessories
• Rings, beads, metallic elements
• Frames and support structures
• Hair padding and support materials
Additional materials may not exceed 30% of the total hairstyle volume.
COLOR
• All color combinations are permitted.
• Colored sprays and temporary color products are permitted.
• Colored sprays may cover up to 50% of the hairstyle.
• Colors should support and enhance the overall concept.
