Live Model / Mannequin
• Create a fashionable men's salon haircut and styling inspired by the Old Money aesthetic.
• The final look should reflect elegance, sophistication, timeless grooming, and premium salon quality.
• Beards and mustaches are permitted but not required.
• Maximum hair length: 10 cm.
• Minimum hair length before the competition:
· Top: 6 cm
· Sides/perimeter: 3 cm
• Up to two harmonious natural-looking colors may be incorporated.
• Natural color shades are encouraged.
• Bright fashion colors, fantasy colors, and neon colors are prohibited.
• All professional haircutting and styling tools are permitted, including scissors, clippers, razors, hairdryers, brushes, and combs.
• Hair must not cover the face.
• Clothing, accessories, and makeup should complement the overall image without distracting from the haircut and styling concept.
GENERAL RULES
• Hair coloring may be completed prior to the competition.
• The model or mannequin must arrive with damp hair combed straight back.
• No styling products may be applied before inspection.
• Pre-cut guide lines or pre-shaped haircut lines are prohibited.
MANNEQUIN REQUIREMENTS
• Any initial hair color is permitted.
• Hair must be at least 90% natural human hair.
• Mannequin must have a neck or neck and shoulders.
• Makeup is permitted.
• A tripod stand is required.
JUDGING CRITERIA
Judges will evaluate:
• Compliance with category requirements
• Technical execution and cleanliness of work
• Precision of haircutting technique
• Shape and suitability of the haircut
• Smooth blending and transitions
• Graduation and balance
• Color harmony
• Styling and finish
• Interpretation of the Old Money aesthetic
• Overall image and presentation
